Product Description

The MVVS 26 IFS petrol engine has developed a reputation for light weight and high power output. This is the latest model of this engine with a stronger bottom end that includes a completely new conrod, crankshaft, and crankcase. Parts are not interchangeable with the series one model, but parts for both models will be available for many years to come.

The MVVS 26 is a perfect first petrol engine that provides excellent performance with aerobatic models up to 7kg and sports models up to 9kg with the standard silencer. The optional quiet pipe is worth up to an extra 1000 revs on the same propeller.

The included ICU-L ignition can be used with either 6 cell conventional batteries or 2S LIPoly batteries (using the optional "battery check mode"). Before switching on the ignition please read both instruction sheets, ensure that the HT leads are connected, the model is restrained, and everyone is well clear of the propeller arc - beware that MVVS engines start easily!

We highly recommend the use of MVVS exhaust systems and Mobil 1 2T oil.
